Boot Camp (Brevard NC) At the moment Survival, Homeland, and Revolution, are in full production in this region and the pipeline of new movies and televisions series grows by the day. Ads being created in this region for TV and websites are at an all time high. Soon to come online are the mega sound stages of Studio Charleston. All of this film activity creates an ever increasing demand for movie extras. For those really serious about being a movie extra, we will be hosting Workshops and Boot Camps in the upcoming months at both Blue Ridge College campuses. The workshops last an hour. Our Boot Camp training is intensive. 4.5 hours. $49. Anyone requiring one-on-one training should contact us directly. $199 and up. From industry veterans, you’ll learn what all that movie jargon means, who to contact and how, what websites to monitor, pitfalls to avoid, how to really shine at a cattle call, what to wear, what to say, how to get the most onscreen time; along with much, much, more. During the Boot Camp you'll learn how to get an extras job, how to stand out at a casting call, how to get the most camera time, how to avoid gaffes, how to avoid casting scams, and dozens of insider tips.
